This was always a great album, but the original late 1980s remaster of this album was done at an incredibly low volume, which meant when you listened at a normal volume it had a lot of extra noise. Beyond that, there is substantially more detail from these more recent remasters, especially with Stu Cook's bass playing.CCR has been described as "swamp rock" but it's really "swamp soul".
